YEP. You heard that right. Your girl is a PUBLISHED AUTHOR.

I am very proud to introduce Cosplay Fabric FX: A book filled with real film industry weathering tricks and techniques, now adapted for hobbyists for the first time ever!

I've been working with C&T Publishing and Stash Books on this project for the better part of a year now, and I am SO excited to finally be able to show you guys what I've been working on all this time! This book was surprisingly challenging to write because wow, film and cosplay sure are not the same, and it was certainly tricky to whittle down what information to include and what to leave out! All that work paid off though, because I believe we managed to create not only a perfect gateway into costume textile arts and SPFX for beginners, but a great resource for veterans too.

It's got all kinds of information on dyeing, painting, special effects, creating custom fabrics, and more that can be applied to all kinds of costumes and budgets, and I'm really hoping that this book can help more people discover the depth that costume weathering and dyeing can have, as well as make it more accessible to many people who may not know where to start!
